Airsticks
The AirSticks is an innovative interface for electronic percussion designed by CCS PhD holder Alon Ilsar in collaboration with Mark Havryliv.
This unique musical instrument allows the performer to trigger and manipulate sounds and visuals in a 3D virtual space. The AirSticks combine the physicality of drumming with the unlimited possibilities of computer music, taking the practice of real-time electronic music to a new realm.
Alon has performed with the Airsticks in scores of professional projects worldwide and has collaborated with fellow CCS digital art maestros Andrew Bluff and Matt Hughes.
